Auburn, Ala: Ross Reed, principal of Auburn Jr. High School, has been named District 4 Middle School Principal of the Year sponsored by Jostens.
This school year marks Reed’s fifth year as the principal at Auburn Junior High School and 25th year in education. In his career he has been an teacher, coach, and assistant principal.
“I am honored to be selected as the 2018 District 4 AAMSP Principal of the Year. I am very proud to work with so many great administrators and teachers that represent this district. These hard working educators make a positive impact on their students daily,” said Mr. Reed.
“I cannot think of a better individual to represent Auburn City Schools as the District 4 Middle School Principal of the Year than Ross Reed,” said Dr. Karen DeLano, Superintendent of Auburn City Schools. “Mr. Reed is a shining example of what it takes to be an effective school leader; we are fortunate to have him as he is not only a champion for his students, faculty and staff, but for the City of Auburn and the state of Alabama as well.”
Reed was recognized at the 2018 AASSP/AAMSP Fall Conference in November.
Thank you to Jostens for their continued support and recognition of outstanding Alabama public school administrators.
