“I am honored and humbled to receive this prestigious recognition from District 8. We have so many great things going on in Alabama’s schools, and I am proud to work with other outstanding administrators in our district. This is ultimately a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the teachers and staff of Hartselle Junior High. We truly have the best students and community, so this award is a tribute to all of these people,” said Dr. Smith.

“We are excited about Dr. Smith and this honor,” said Dee Dee Jones, Superintendent of Hartselle City Schools.
