Attend this two-day training held in three locations throughout the state and connect with colleagues to enhance skills, explore current trends, and gain insightful information needed to perform your job. Tentative conference content will include: Modeling Exemplary Leadership; The Motivation, Courage and Action Needed for School Leadership; Qualities of Instructional Leaders: Perspectives from the State Department of Education; Dealing with Resistant Staff; Managing Technology in the Classroom; Top Tips for School Safety; Orchestrating the Move to Personal and Professional Improvement; Documentation and Feedback: What’s Legal and What’s Not?; De-escalating Crisis Situations in Schools; Special Ed: Avoiding Citations and Legal Concerns; and The 3 C’s of Leadership.
Pricing: Registration fee is FREE for the first 80 registered actively employed Assistant Principals. After 80 registrations are received, additional registrants will be contacted and given the choice of remaining on a waiting list or paying a $425 registration fee. *If option to pay is chosen, CLAS will bill the address on the registration form for the applicable registration fee.
Free Registrations are available to actively employed Assistant Principals on a first-come, first-serve basis to the first 80 registered. FREE registrations are made available through the grant of Title II AND Title V funds for State-Level Activities as described in No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, through the Alabama State Department of Education. Attendees accepting FREE registrations must attend the entire conference; if unable to attend the entire conference, attendee will be billed for registration fee.
