Keeping up with school law issues is challenging for both the experienced and novice school administrator.  You need to know how to accomplish your tasks and minimize the possibility of legal trouble.  Participants can choose from topics such as special education, contracts, students' rights, ethics, search and seizure, dismissal and arbitration, bullying and harassment, and board policy.  Presenteres at this conference are a Who's Who of the most respected legal experts in school law at the state and federal levels.  This event can be used as one activity toward a PLU in Standard VII: Management of the Learning Organization.
