MISSION:

The Alabama Association of Middle School Principals will serve as a voice and a resource for public school middle level administrators.

PURPOSE AND GOALS:

• to facilitate positive educational leadership,
• to speak for the middle school principals,
• to enhance the image of the middle school principal as an educational leader and to promote greater recognition of the professional skill and performance demanded by the position,
• to serve as an agency for the collection and dissemination of information pertinent to the middle school principal
• to promote legislation which is in the interest of children, education and the association.

MEMBERSHIP:

Principals and assistant principals of middle schools (middle level, junior high, and any combination of middle grades) are eligible to join AAMSP as active members.
