Bill Miller, Sr. Friend of Education Award

An award recognizing a non-educator who has made significant contributions to the field of education awarded by the Alabama Association of Elementary School Administrators (AAESA)

This award is for an individual who is NOT in the field of education, but who has made considerable contributions to education over the years.

District nominations must be submitted to AAESA by May 1.  District nominations must be submitted in writing to the AAESA Executive Board at the CLAS Convention in June.  Selection is made by the AAESA Executive Board at the CLAS Convention. Presentation is made at the Fall Instructional Leadership Conference in November.
